RESPONSIBILITIES
Mr. Peterson is responsible for overseeing and managing design and marketing activities for the 18 Opus Architects & Engineers locations in the United States, as well as Toronto, Ontario. He also has specific responsibilities managing all Opus Northwest design/proposal & construction documents as well as design support for government and military pursuits.
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Peterson has over 30 years of professional practice, 20 years of which have been with Opus Architects & Engineers where he has served in numerous roles on building projects nationwide. As Vice President and Principal-in-Charge of Opus Northwest, Mr. Peterson has been responsible for all architectural design in the 15-state region extending from the Upper Midwest to the Pacific Northwest. Prior to joining Opus, Mr. Peterson was owner and principal of the architectural firm, Associated Architects and Engineers from 1978 to 1986.
Mr. Peterson’s recent managerial project experience includes over 3.2 million square feet of low to high-rise office design, 2 million square feet of retail, and 3.6 million square feet of manufacturing and distribution facilities.
