EXPERIENCE

Mr. Gschneidner joined Opus Architects & Engineers in 1993 and has over 20 years of experience as an architect. His project experience includes institutional facilities, high-rise office and residential buildings, retail buildings and laboratory facilities.

Mr. Gschneidner’s recent project experience includes leading the design teams on the 40-story Carlyle and 27-story Grant Park condominium project in downtown Minneapolis where his expertise in managing large, complex projects was critical. He has also been involved in the design efforts for high-rise housing towers in Denver, Seattle, St. Louis, and Scottsdale.

Mr. Gschneidner’s knowledge of real estate and construction needs compliment his understanding of high-rise enclosure, mechanical and structural issues and systems. His collaborative style works particularly well in complex projects involving a broad range of stakeholders and special consultants.

Other Opus projects that Mr. Gschneidner has lead include Marquette University John P. Raynor Library; University of St. Thomas School of Law; University of St. Thomas Science & Engineering Center; Collier Center – a mixed use office, retail, and hotel development; and the California Department of Justice building in Sacramento, California.

Prior to joining Opus, Mr. Gschneidner was a project architect with Ehrlich-Rominger in San Francisco, California, working on numerous projects including an electrical engineering building for the University of California, Davis, California; the County of Sacramento Data Center; and the County of Sacramento Coroner and Crime Laboratories.
