RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Vice President – Project Management with Opus, Mr. Larson provides guidance and oversight to a team of project managers, associate project managers, and project interns working on Opus projects across multiple property types including institutional, office, industrial, and residential. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, he also directly manages large, complex projects from project pursuit through design, construction, and project close-out. His experience includes 20 projects on college campuses.
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Larson has been engaged in design-build project management with Opus since 1978. Highlights of Craig’s experience with Opus include over twenty high-quality, functional and cost-effective collegiate projects, including the following:
Anderson Student Center and Anderson Athletic & Recreation Complex, University of St. Thomas – St. Paul, MN
Student Center is a 250,000-sq-ft facility housing student dining, ballroom, recreation, and bookstore. The 190,000-sq-ft Athletic & Recreation facility includes a fieldhouse, arena, aquatic center, locker rooms, weight room, and fitness area.
Creighton University Harper Student Center - Omaha, NE
220,000-sq-ft, four-level center for student life and learning is located on a three-acre redevelopment site on the Creighton campus in Omaha. Center includes theatre, fitness center, ballroom, boardroom, cafe, bookstore, classrooms, and other related uses.
University of St. Thomas – Minneapolis, MN
Five institutional buildings including: Terrence Murphy Hall, 150,000-sq-ft graduate business school; Opus Hall, 100,000-sq-ft graduate school of education; School of Law, 150,000-sq-ft; Schulze Hall, 88,000-sq-ft school of entrepreneurship; and a 600 car parking structure.
Luther College Sampson Hoffman Laboratories - Decorah, Iowa
60,000-sq-ft, three-story, science building with extensive chemistry and biology laboratory spaces. This facility includes a link to Valders Hall. Planned to be LEED-certified facility.
College of St. Catherine Student Apartments – St. Paul, MN
The 115,000-sq-ft, 80 unit complex, is comprised of 290 bed residence that is configured in two 4-story residential wings with a 1-story connecting commons space.
