Opus Corporation Community
At Opus, we believe we've found a better way to build. It starts with a belief that if we listen more intently and collaborate more closely, together we will build structures that not only fulfill your vision for today, but inspire the lives of tomorrow.

Community

Community stewardship has been at the very core of Opus since it was founded in 1953. Opus has always contributed 10 percent of its profits to community organizations and charitable causes based on the values and commitment of its founder, Gerald Rauenhorst. The tradition that started more than 50 years ago continues to guide our work today.

Through the Opus Foundation, we work to improve the communities in which our people live and work by supporting nonprofit organizations that foster human and community development — programs that address early childhood education, youth development, workforce and employment training and community revitalization.

Giving back to the community has always been an important part of the fabric of Opus East's Philadelphia office. A great example of the office's unyielding commitment was a recent collaborative effort with more than 50 of its subcontractors and vendors in the Philadelphia area.
